1. About SkyUp MT Airlines: history, fleet

In May 2023, a new airline, SkyUp MT, was launched in Europe under the SkyUp brand, with its headquarters in Malta. Currently, SkyUp continues to cooperate with all companies operating under the Join UP! brand in the countries where it operates, providing charter and regular flights for its tourists.
Operating under the SkyUp brand:
- a company with Ukrainian registration SkyUp LLC (IATA code: PQ; ICAO: SQP)
- a company with Maltese registration SkyUp MT (IATA code: U5; ICAO: SEU).

As of August 2023, SkyUp's fleet includes 10 medium-haul aircrafts:

The Boeing 737-800 New Generation is equipped with the Sky Interior configuration, an improved interior design with LED lighting and more comfortable and spacious overhead bins.
The rest of the fleet has been re-equipped with comfortable eco-leather seats - Geven, designed by the famous Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. It is planned to install Geven seats on all aircrafts, as these seats are more ergonomic, comfortable for passengers and offer additional space.

Additional piece of luggage, up to 32 kg – 225-300 PLN (45-60 EUR)*
- Maximum weight – 32 kg
- Size – the sum of 3 dimensions up to 158 cm

Upgrade baggage up to 32 kg Service – 225 PLN (45 EUR)*
- Increasing the weight of a piece of checked baggage from 23 kg to 32 kg
- Size – the sum of 3 dimensions up to 158 cm

Oversized baggage – 325 PLN (65 EUR)*
- Maximum weight – 23 kg

Sports equipment – 250-300 PLN (50-60 EUR)*
- Maximum weight – 23 kg

Animal transportation in the cabin on SkyUp MT flights

Dogs and cats are accepted for carriage. The number of animals allowed on each flight is limited.
For information on the documents required and the rules for transporting an animal, the passenger should contact the relevant services..

Transportation of an animal in the cabin – 375 PLN (75 EUR)*
- Maximum weight - up to 8 kg (including the container)
- Container dimensions - 55x45x25 cm (length, width, height)
- Cages, soft baskets and travel bags specially designed for transportation of small animals by air, placed only under the front seat
Transportation of an animal in the luggage compartment, up to 23 kg – 550 PLN (110 EUR)*
- Maximum weight - 23 kg (including the container)
- Container dimensions - no more than 310 cm in the sum of three dimensions
Transportation of an animal in the luggage compartment, up to 32 kg – 650 PLN (130 EUR)*
- Maximum weight - from 23 kg to 32 kg (including the container)

Transportation of children and infants on SkyUp MT regular/charter flights

Categories:

• up to 2 years - an infant

They travel in the arms of their parents without occupying a separate seat. An adult passenger may travel with only one infant. Newborns under 7 days old are not accepted for carriage.

• from 2 to 12 years old – child

When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket will be issued. There are no additional discounts, children have a separate seat on the plane.

Unaccompanied minor:
- The service is available for children aged 5 to 12 years
- The cost is 300-375 PLN (60-75 EUR) per child one way

Passengers should check the rules for crossing the border of the departure/transit/destination country for minors and the required documents and airline rules for unaccompanied minors - on their own.

SkyBox: Pre-ordering meals on SkyUp MT flights

Pre-order meals available on all charter flights from Romania, Poland to Egypt and Tanzania.
The Kids SkyBox menu is not available on direct charter flights to Zanzibar, Tanzania.

You can add the selected menu to the reservation in your personal account no later than 96 hours before departure.
